Mirrored acrylic sheet, held in stock locally. It gives a true mirror finish at a fraction of the weight of glass, and unlike glass it will not shatter, which is what makes it usable overhead, in gyms and retail, and anywhere within reach of people.
Acrylic is about half the weight of glass and far harder to break, and it keeps its clarity outdoors – of the common sheet plastics it is the one that holds up best to years of sunlight. This is extruded sheet, which holds a tighter thickness tolerance and is the more economical choice where the cut edge will not be on show.
