PRIOR TO EXECUTING ANY PURCHASES IT SHALL BE THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO REVIEW AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PROVIDED.

Terms of Sale

These terms shall assist in navigating business transactions between Min Plastics and Supply, Inc. and Customers.  Prior to executing any purchases it shall be the customers responsibility to review and become familiar with the Terms and Conditions that MPS has provided. Customer agrees to the following terms when choosing to make any purchase(s) with Min Plastics and Supply, Inc. via in person, over the phone, or via website.

Finance Terms

All payments shall be net cash (USD).  Customer agrees to pay a finance charge of 1.5% per month, (18% annum) on all outstanding balances over 10 days plus any attorney ‘s fess or court cost incurred. 

Inspection of Goods

All items shall be inspected by the customer and any claims for scratches or damages to sheets or items need to be made with office prior to leaving premises.  Damaged or scratched items will not be accepted for return after customer has left premises.  Scratches in the surfaces or masking shall be noted to sales office before leaving premises. Any claims made after leaving premises will not be honored.

Loading of Vehicles

We will gladly assist you in loading your vehicle. We do have a forklift and can have your order pre-palletized for easy loading and unloading.  However, we will not be responsible for the damages incurred to the items or vehicle while loading or securing items. It shall be the customers responsibility to ensure safe handling, transportation, and storage of items to prevent any damage to vehicle or items.  Min Plastics & Supply, Inc. does not provide tie downs or rope and will not secure the load for driver.  Please bring an appropriately sized vehicle for the items being picked up.

Manufacturer Defects

Do not remove masking from sheet or items.  Please return this item for replacement subject to inspection and documentation.  This includes any defects beneath the surface of material or deformed surfaces from the manufacturer (Manufacturer defects do not include surface scratches).

Material Warpage 

Plastic is susceptible to humidity. With Hawaii’s high humidity levels it is normal that the material will absorb humidity and warping may occur. Warping tends to be more pronounced in thin materials (thinner than 1/4”). Please keep this in mind when ordering, if warping is a concern use a thicker material. If a thicker plastic material is not available from Min Plastics & Supply Inc., glass could be a better option to suit your application. There are no returns or warranty claims on orders due to material warping. 

Expanded PVC Defects

Expanded PVC is an economical choice for customers looking for an inexpensive material.  This material is shipped un-masked without any protective film (bare) to save on cost (not available with masking). Expanded PVC is a soft material and scratches very easily. Dust particles get trapped in between the sheets and scratch the bare surface from the manufacturing processes to packing, transportation, handling, and cutting.  This is normal for this type of material and cannot be avoided.  Factory defects are common, but most times only one side will be on display and the factory defects can be hidden toward the non-visible side.  Expanded PVC is also very porous and will absorb dirt, dust, oil and very easily stain.  If any of this is a concern, please have a look at our other lines of plastic.

Batch Color Variations

American made acrylic sheet have a very high standards to not have color variations between batches of sheet produced from the same company. There can be a slight color variation between two different companies of acrylic sheets manufactured yet they work together to keep color variances to a minimum. At times there can be a mismatch in color due to the dye to monomer ratios. If an exact color match is needed use the same brand and same batch. All the material needed should be purchased at same time. If you have any questions or need a sample chip please contact us and we will be glad to help you.
