Mirrored acrylic sheet, held in stock locally. It gives a true mirror finish at a fraction of the weight of glass, and unlike glass it will not shatter, which is what makes it usable overhead, in gyms and retail, and anywhere within reach of people.
Light passes through acrylic slightly better than through window glass, and it carries a fraction of the weight, which is why it is the usual choice wherever glass would be heavy, fragile or overhead. This is extruded sheet, which holds a tighter thickness tolerance and is the more economical choice where the cut edge will not be on show.
